Success stories
Johnathan, a UNAL physics student and a victim of the armed conflict in Neiva, found an opportunity in the Innovation Lab to pursue his passion for entrepreneurship and community development. With the support of facilitators and an interdisciplinary team, he developed an app that connects farmers with buyers, reducing intermediaries. He now plans to apply knowledge of tools like Arduino and open-source coding to continue benefiting communities impacted by the conflict in Colombia.

Daniel, originally from BogotĆ”, joined the Innovation Lab through an invitation from friends. There, he received training that enabled him to design his project, āLlant Soluciones Ecológicasā, a company that transforms used tires into products through eco-friendly industrial processes. Daniel highlights that the lab provided him with ICT knowledge, skills he now shares with his peers to foster creativity and collective innovation.
