After a two-year delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Casa dos Sete was finally able to bring together local officials, partners, and the Brazil National Coordinator for The Trust for the Americas, FƔtima Galeazzo, at the launch event for the first POETA Center in the city of Salvador, Bahia, on May 26.

The POETA Casa dos Sete Center will now also provide in-person services to hundreds of people over 16 years of age at its newest space, thanks to a partnership with Hub Salvador, a complex and modern co-working space that houses over 70 companies and startups focused on technology and innovation at the core of their missions. In addition to donating 30 computers and providing the physical space, Hub Salvador will also support the POETA DigiSpark project in generating economic opportunities for the participants of the POETA Casa dos Sete Center.

And to mark the beginning of the in-person activities of the POETA Casa dos Sete Center, the DNA Empreendedoras course was held in the afternoon, a training program consisting of four workshops full of practical activities and mentorships for 30 female entrepreneurs from the community with invited specialists: How to Sell on Social Media, with Nayhara Queiroz, Digital Strategist; Personal and Business Financial Education, with FƔtima Galeazzo, National Coordinator of Brazil; Women's Entrepreneurship and How to Sell via WhatsApp with InaiƔ SimƵes, Coordinator of the POETA Casa dos Sete Center; and Purpose Workshop with Allan Jones, Coach and Coordinator of the POETA Nexus Center in Alagoas.
