As President of Microsoft Latin America, Alberto “Tito” Arciniega focuses on supporting and accelerating the digital transformation of the region's countries, communities, and markets through technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud services. His goal is to enable Microsoft's customers and ecosystem in Latin America to achieve more, seize new opportunities, and continue growing through innovative and secure solutions.
Arciniega has been at Microsoft for 11 years, working closely with customers and partners. Before taking on his current role, he served for five years as Vice President of Enterprise Sales for Microsoft Latin America. During that time, he drove technology adoption, led agile innovation processes, and contributed to the business growth of his customers. Previously, he served as Worldwide Vice President of the Commercial Sector in Microsoft's Enterprise and Partner Group, overseeing strategies, marketing, and solution development for industries such as manufacturing, financial services, retail, and consumer goods.
Before joining Microsoft in 2012, Arciniega held the position of Worldwide Vice President of Enterprise Sales at IBM, where he led the global medium-sized business segment, with a focus on hardware, software, and services. He also held other positions in regions such as the Americas and Europe.
An Industrial Engineer born in Peru and a graduate of the University of Lima, Arciniega is passionate about people and the market. He believes that thoroughly understanding each client's business is essential to support their transformation and digital acceleration processes, seizing the opportunities of each industry with innovative solutions that respond to the complexity of today's markets. He has experience in marketing, finance, and organizational development. He is a dynamic and hands-on leader, capable of creating solutions while managing change in highly uncertain environments.
Tito likes to travel, play golf, and work out. He also enjoys the cinema, gastronomy, and reading. He divides his time between Florida, Seattle, and various Latin American countries. He is married to Eva and has two children: Tania and Alejandro.
