From an Open Government to an Open State in Costa Rica
The project aims to strengthen accountability and citizen participation in Costa Rica by implementing Open Data policies in 15 municipalities outside the Greater Metropolitan Area. It promotes multisectoral collaboration and trains public officials in international standards, transitioning from an Open Government model to an Open State. Focusing on transparency, social innovation, and service improvement, it fosters deliberative spaces among local governments, civil society, and the private sector.
