In partnership with the Walmart Foundation and the Manpower Foundation in Mexico, the project has benefited more than seventy thousand people in vulnerable situations. Eighty percent of the trainees are women.\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The WEF award acknowledges \u201cthe compromise by companies in every sector towards creating an inclusive work environment within communities, and with a focus on gender equity and empowerment. It pays tribute to companies that are making a difference with enlightened entrepreneurship and innovative practices that advance both the economy and society\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Linda Eddleman praised the Project VIVE team: \u201cThis achievement wouldn\u2019t have been possible without the commitment and passion of our team. More than 120 people have worked in this effort, the vast majority being women\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also, she invited the audience to read the&nbsp;<em><strong>Recipe Book for Powerful Women: stories to inspire you,&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em>A book that compiles 70 success stories of women who have graduated from Project VIVE. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year\u2019s edition was an online event on November 6 and 7.
