A trav\u00e9s de esta iniciativa y mediante capacitaciones, 96 personas fortalecieron sus negocios y microempresas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Durante cuatro meses, las personas beneficiarias recibieron capacitaciones en herramientas digitales y empresariales, destrezas gerenciales y administrativas, as\u00ed como mentor\u00edas personalizadas para nuevos empresarios. &nbsp;Las sesiones se realizaron de manera virtual.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Al respecto de la iniciativa Jes\u00fas Bolinaga, Market Business Leader en Puerto Rico, coment\u00f3 \u201cel compromiso de AES con las comunidades de la isla siempre ha estado presente y este a\u00f1o lo revalidamos. Los empresarios merecen nuestro apoyo para continuar con su crecimiento y desarrollo empresarial. En esta ronda de talleres se destacan desarrollos e innovaciones que, a pesar de estar en su fase temprana de implementaci\u00f3n, demuestran gran capacidad para impactar la regi\u00f3n con sus modelos de negocio.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s de las capacitaciones, 10 personas recibir\u00e1n un incentivo econ\u00f3mico y 10 m\u00e1s, recibir\u00e1n una mentor\u00eda especializada en aceleraci\u00f3n empresarial. Este acompa\u00f1amiento apoyar\u00e1 a los emprendedores para acelerar sus emprendimientos a partir de un an\u00e1lisis de las fortalezas y debilidades de sus negocios. De esta manera podr\u00e1n alinearlas a las oportunidades actuales del mercado. Con estos apoyos, el Programa \u201cPotenciando el Emprendimiento Innovador\u201d apoyar\u00e1 nuevas ideas de negocios y microempresas existentes a trav\u00e9s de &nbsp;un proceso de capacitaci\u00f3n integral con &nbsp;metodolog\u00edas de innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Linda Eddleman, Directora Ejecutiva en The Trust for the Americas, destac\u00f3 que \u201cdesde el a\u00f1o 2018 venimos trabajando con la Corporaci\u00f3n AES Puerto Rico para apoyar a emprendedores. &nbsp;En conjunto, hemos ofrecido capacitaci\u00f3n en herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas para que m\u00e1s personas puedan emprender y lograr una independencia financiera. Emprender no es f\u00e1cil. Emprender es tomar un voto de confianza en uno mismo. Through this initiative and a series of training sessions, 96 people strengthened their businesses and microenterprises. Over the course of four months, the participants received training in digital and business tools, managerial and administrative skills, as well as personalized mentoring for new entrepreneurs. The sessions were conducted virtually. Regarding the initiative, Jes\u00fas Bolinaga, Market Business Leader in Puerto Rico, commented, \u201cAES\u2019s commitment to the island\u2019s communities has always been strong, and this year we reaffirmed it. Entrepreneurs deserve our support to continue their growth and business development. This round of workshops highlights developments and innovations that, despite being in the early stages of implementation, demonstrate great potential to impact the region with their business models.\u201d In addition to the training sessions, 10 participants will receive a financial incentive, and 10 more will receive specialized mentoring focused on business acceleration. This support will help entrepreneurs accelerate their ventures based on an analysis of their businesses\u201c strengths and weaknesses. This will enable them to align their businesses with current market opportunities. With this support, the \u201dEmpowering Innovative Entrepreneurship\u201c Program will support new business ideas and existing microenterprises through a comprehensive training process using innovation methodologies. Linda Eddleman, Executive Director at The Trust for the Americas, noted that \u201dsince 2018, we have been working with the AES Puerto Rico Corporation to support entrepreneurs. \u00a0Together, we have offered training in technological tools so that more people can start their own businesses and achieve financial independence. Entrepreneurship isn\u2019t easy. It means taking a leap of faith in oneself. That\u2019s why I want to congratulate the 96 entrepreneurs who have been part of this project.\u201d Over the years, the partnership between AES Puerto Rico and The Trust for the Americas has benefited more than 200 people, who have strengthened their businesses through training and financial incentives, while others have received support through specialized mentoring. The winners will be selected from a group of 28 finalists.
