Trust for the Americas and Fundaci\u00f3n Terra are pleased to announce the opening of two new POETA centers in Honduras, bringing the total number of centers nationwide to six. These new centers, located in Agua Blanca Sur, El Progreso, Yoro, and Nueva Suyapa, are joining the POETA DigiSpark Project as implementing partners, an effort to strengthen access to technology for educational purposes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The objective of these new centers is to provide training in digital skills and life capabilities, focusing on employability and entrepreneurship. The centers will offer more than 100 educational contents and activities, ranging from the use and care of technological equipment to advanced topics such as computer science, artificial intelligence, and cybersecurity. An average of 100 students per month is expected to be served at each center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This important breakthrough has been made possible thanks to strategic collaboration with key partners such as Microsoft, Proyecto Joven \u2013 Acci\u00f3n Cultural Popular Hondure\u00f1a, Agua Blanca Sur, and UNO Centroam\u00e9rica. Together, we work to build a better future by promoting digital inclusion and socioeconomic development in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
