Esta plataforma fue descargada en los celulares de las y los participantes, que contaron con acceso a internet desde la sala de Celamex.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image L\u00edder de Responsabilidad Social Corporativa en EY M\u00e9xico y LAN, coment\u00f3 que esta sesi\u00f3n fue un espacio donde los profesionales de EY compartieron sus conocimientos, experiencias y Banco Mundial nos dice que para el a\u00f1o 2030 vamos a tener algo as\u00ed como 100 millones de personas que van a vivir en la pobreza extrema, derivado del cambio clim\u00e1tico, y todas las consecuencias que eso trae, no solo en el tema ambiental sino econ\u00f3mico en la supervivencia del ser humano, porque solo tenemos un mundo, ese tipo de datos nos hace reflexionar hacia d\u00f3nde vamos y qu\u00e9 queremos hacer\u201d.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por esta raz\u00f3n, Mar\u00eda del Carmen invit\u00f3 a las personas asistentes a seguirse preparando, para poder adaptarse a las nuevas situaciones y a los nuevos retos que vienen al mundo, para esto, ser\u00e1 necesario proponer soluciones innovadoras que les permitan encontrar opciones de trabajo.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los voluntarios, adem\u00e1s de compartir conocimientos, compartieron algunas historias de vida que ayudaron a los participantes a concluir Lourdes Serrano, Gerente de Proyectos POETA en The Trust for the Americas, destac\u00f3 que hace m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os, la alianza con Microsoft a trav\u00e9s del Programa de Oportunidades Econ\u00f3micas a trav\u00e9s de la Tecnolog\u00eda en las Am\u00e9ricas, espec\u00edficamente a gracias a la implementaci\u00f3n del Proyecto POETA DigiSpark, se han beneficiado a miles de personas en diferentes pa\u00edses de Latinoam\u00e9rica y El Caribe, y es gracias a esta alianza que en 2022 se sum\u00f3 EY para fortalecer las habilidades tecnol\u00f3gicas de las personas.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lourdes Serrano agradeci\u00f3 al equipo de Celamex por el apoyo para realizar estas capacitaciones, pues record\u00f3 que \u201ces gracias M\u00e9xico, que destac\u00f3 que la finalidad de impartir estas capacitaciones es que les puedan ayudar en sus vidas laborales y personales. This was made possible thanks to the support of the local partner Centro Laboral M\u00e9xico I.A.P. This app was downloaded onto the participants\u201d cell phones, and they had internet access from the Celamex computer lab.\u00a0 Maria del Carmen Egremy, Corporate Social Responsibility Leader at EY Mexico and LAN, noted that this session provided a space for EY professionals to share their knowledge, experiences, and skills with Celamex beneficiaries.\u00a0\u00a0 She emphasized that \u201cthe World Bank tells us that by 2030, we will have approximately 100 million people living in extreme poverty as a result of climate change, and all the consequences that entails\u2014not only environmental but also economic and related to human survival\u2014because we only have one world; this kind of data makes us reflect on where we\u2019re headed and what we want to do.\u201d\u00a0 For this reason, Mar\u00eda del Carmen encouraged attendees to continue preparing themselves so they can adapt to the new situations and challenges facing the world; to do so, it will be necessary to propose innovative solutions that enable them to find employment opportunities.\u00a0 In addition to sharing their knowledge, the volunteers shared personal stories that helped the participants complete their courses and that will help them apply what they\u2019ve learned to their daily lives.\u00a0\u00a0 In her remarks, Lourdes Serrano, POETA Project Manager at The Trust for the Americas, highlighted that for more than 10 years, the partnership with Microsoft through the Economic Opportunities through Technology in the Americas Program, specifically through the implementation of the POETA DigiSpark Project, has benefited thousands of people in various countries across Latin America and the Caribbean, and it is thanks to this partnership that EY joined in 2022 to strengthen people\u2019s technological skills.\u00a0 Lourdes Serrano thanked the Celamex team for their support in organizing these training sessions, noting that \u201cit is thanks to Celamex that they always welcome us and provide their support, but it is thanks to them that they bring us closer to you\u2014the people who choose to participate with us.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0 Gabriela Espinosa, Philanthropy Coordinator for Microsoft in Mexico, participated in this event and emphasized that the purpose of these training sessions is to help participants in both their professional and personal lives.
