It is a non-governmental alternative in Costa Rica, established on May 5, 1983, whose mission is \u201cto provide a transitional home for girls and female adolescents at high social risk, victims of abuse and violence; providing shelter, comprehensive training, and the necessary tools to face a healthy, independent, and responsible life, while also incorporating them into the workforce.\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Girls and adolescents are between 12 and 18 years old and are survivors of trafficking, abandonment, and abuse of all kinds. They are not mothers and have no criminal record or drug addictions. Each girl is referred by our country's National Child Welfare Agency.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\\\"wp-block-image\\\"\"><figure class=\"\\\"aligncenter\" size-large is-resized\\\"><img src=\"\\\"https:><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In partnership with Trust for the Americas and the Poeta Social Franchise, I have supported the students in their teaching and learning processes by incorporating technology. Hogar Siembra has access to basic technological tools, such as computers, tablets, and cell phones; I also trained a group of them in programming using the Oracle Academy system.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"\\\"wp-block-image\\\"\"><figure class=\"\\\"aligncenter\" size-large is-resized\\\"><img src=\"\\\"https:><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I consider it essential that girls and young women make appropriate use of technological tools in their daily activities. Part of my goals and commitment to Hogar Siembra is to teach technology and educate for life, while also focusing on shaping better individuals for our society.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Licda. Es una alternativa no gubernamental en Costa Rica, que se estableci\u00f3 el 5 de mayo de 1983 y su misi\u00f3n es\u00a0\u201cbrindar un hogar transitorio a ni\u00f1as y adolescentes en alto riesgo social, v\u00edctimas de abuso y violencia;\u00a0proporcionando abrigo, formaci\u00f3n integral y herramientas\u00a0necesarias\u00a0para enfrentar una vida sana, independiente y responsable,\u00a0incorpor\u00e1ndolas, adem\u00e1s,\u00a0al mundo\u00a0laboral\u201d.\u00a0 Las ni\u00f1as y adolescentes&nbsp;est\u00e1n&nbsp;entre los 12 y los 18 a\u00f1os&nbsp;y son sobrevivientes de trata, abandono y abuso en todas las modalidades.&nbsp;No son madres&nbsp;y&nbsp;no presentan antecedentes delictivos ni adicciones a drogas.&nbsp;Cada ni\u00f1a es referida por el Patronato Nacional de la Infancia&nbsp;de nuestro pa\u00eds.&nbsp; En conjunto con Trust for the Americas&nbsp;y la Franquicia Social Poeta; he acompa\u00f1ado a las&nbsp;estudiantes&nbsp;en los procesos de ense\u00f1anza-aprendizaje,&nbsp;incorporando la tecnolog\u00eda. El Hogar Siembra cuenta con&nbsp;acceso a herramientas tecnol\u00f3gicas b\u00e1sicas, como computadoras,&nbsp;tabletas&nbsp;y celulares; adem\u00e1s&nbsp;capacito a&nbsp;un grupo de&nbsp;ellas,&nbsp;en el \u00e1rea de la programaci\u00f3n&nbsp;con el sistema Oracle Academy.&nbsp; Considero fundamental que las ni\u00f1as y j\u00f3venes den un uso adecuado a las&nbsp;herramientas&nbsp;tecnol\u00f3gicas&nbsp;en su quehacer diario.
